staggering statistic

i am making another plug for a radio station that i love: www.kexp.org (90.3 for seattle locals).
you can listen online to streaming archives.
this comes in especailly handy when you like the very informative shows that also air very early (7-9 am on saturdays & sundays of all days)!
there are a few shows like "counterspin & mind over matters" that i really love.
it's the news that mainstream media isn't reporting.

so i was up early this weekend and heard a RIDICULOUSLY staggering statistic:

we all know that over 4,000 troops have been killed in active duty in iraq BUT, did you also know that:

OVER 4,000 SOLDIERS HAVE COMMITTED SUICIDE SINCE RETURNING FROM COMBAT.

close to 10,000 men & women, mothers & fathers, brothers & sisters have been killed/died from america alone.

FOR WHAT?
FOR WHAT?
FOR WHAT?

that doesn't even include all the iraqi soldiers & innocent men, women & children...
when will enough be enough??

only 216 days left until bush is out of office.
i pray for peace.
